Subject: Halo: CE bring back so many good memories...

I remember when i first picked up Halo: CE at a local KMART. Way back in 5th Grade. My friend told me all about and said that i needed to get this game. So i did.

I remember the first time i played Campaign. I was so excited and was ready to have a good time. The first few minutes i was in awe of what i was looking at. I thought to myself..."This has to be the best game i have ever played!" For an 11 year old, that was pretty cool. I was soon calling up friends and telling them all about the new game and that they had to check it out. At the time i really didn't know what kind of a game i was getting into, and how big of a game it would become.

Multiplayer was something like a Revolution to me. When i first walked out onto the desert plains of Blood Gulch and explored the environment and my surroundings, it was really something very special to see.

Back then me, my brother, his friends, and my friends tried many different things on the game. When i first heard of the term "Glitch" i was excited to a point where i coldn't wait to try it out.

There are so many things that i could go on about, but i'll save that for another time. But Halo:CE will always have a place im my heart, and i think it does for all of us.

It was that good of a game...and it will stay as my favorite game of all time, and i think that will never change...

somewhere in the heavens...they are waiting. I love the Marathon Trilogy.
Halo CE will always be the best game in the Halo franchise. What a perfect game.

I salute you!

Infinite grenades made for a lot of fun. And trying to fit 4 ghosts, 4 warthogs and both tanks in one base on Blood Gulch was pretty funny.

Looks like were not on our own after all.

I miss LANs and co-op. So much fun to play the game, and still is.

I never did play a LAN game, sadly.....but I did play 4-player splitscreen alot! Along with co-op, what happened to gaming in general? Everything went boring when the next-gen systems came out.

Developers are more worried about keeping up with the times, i.e. graphics, features, than keeping gameplay fun with replayability.

Well, if they don't, the consumers will just pass their games by and ignore them, unless they do something really, really, really well, like Mass Effect.

Why hello there.

I also remember playing Halo for my first time... with my dad and beating the game with my dad... I played a lot with my dad and explored alot diffrent things on the game with my friends and my dad. And then I heard out of cortana and Master Chiefs mouth "the ring... its over" said cortana ."No I think were just getting started..." said Master Chief. And said to myself Halo Trilogy here I come! Those were some good times very fun and good times.

I completely agree. I started in third grade (rofl) and I loved it. Wasn't very good at it, but I still loved it. It was just so amazing to me. I remember literally shivering as I started getting into levels like 343 Guilty Spark (and every single level following it). Sometimes when I look back on the case and I get this feeble old, familiar feeling. A feeling of chilidish happiness that will ever ever fill me again.

Good times indeed.

When I think of Halo CE, I get a feeling inside that I can't explain. So many memories, from coop with friends everyday, which turned into multiplayer once 2 more friends started playing with us. Then we discovered xbc and played that everyday at my house. Then through that we found a local tourny and came in third, qualifying for NYC. Too bad we were too young to go...
Moving on, there were so many glitches that we either found or tried out after seeing them on the internet. Nothing in Halo 3 compares, maybe because I am older and don't have the imagination of a child anymore...
Now I just play it feels like.
