I'm thinking of creating a weapon balance mod, to balance the weapons.

I will try to make it have:

-Fuel Rods do 0.3x its normal dmg to SPARTANs
-Fuel Rods do 1.5x more dmg to banshees
-Rocket Launchers do 0.6x its normal damage to SPARTANs
-Rocket Launcher projectiles go 2x faster
-RHog Rockets unaffected
-Warthog chaingun does 0.8x dmg
-Warthog driver can press space for emergency brake :D
-Tank & Warthog passenger seats get a 3rd person perspective (easier to aim)
-Plasma Grenades instant kill if stuck to a vehicle/you
-Plasma nades do nothing if not stuck to something
-Assult Rifle 2.5x more accurate
-Needler needles go 3x faster
-Plasma Rifle with 2x scope
-Plasma Rifle 3x more accurate
-Banshees primary weapon overheats after 15 seconds
-Banshee secondary weapon dmg 0.5x its normal dmg to SPARTANs
-You cannot die if you jump out of a banshee
-Plasma Pistol has a 2x scope, but loses scope after charge shot is fired
-Plasma Pistol projectiles go 10x faster
-Scorpian Primary weapon 100% accurate
-Scorpian Secondary weapon 3x more accurate
-Scorpian primary weapon damage 0.4x its normal dmg to SPARTANs, and 10 second reload
-Alien Turret dmg 2x
-All dmg to turrets is 0.5x, grenades dmg is 0.4x
-Flag melee is 1 hit kills (now the energy sworders are happy)
-Frag nades 0.85x dmg
-Frags grenades are more bouncey off walls
-All melees are 1.2x dmg
-Sniper gets 10x scope

Basically:
-Plasma Pistol, Needler, Plasma Rifle, Assult Rifle, Flags, Plasma nades, Turrets, Snipers, all melee get upgraded
-Scorpian, Banshees, Fuel Rods, Rockets, Hogs, Frags are downgraded
-Pistols, Shotguns, Flamers, Rhogs unaffected

Do you agree? What should be modified?

I think ten seconds is a bit too long.

-Plasma Grenades instant kill if stuck to a vehicle/you
Plasma nades are already a one hit kill if they're stuck to you, but not a vehicle.

-Plasma nades do nothing if not stuck to something
that is so not fair. they should still do damage like normal nades, even if they aren't stuck to something.

other than that, you're pretty good

can be mostly done in a little while with HMT. if you need any help just ask. when your done, you can post it on halomods to see what other people think

That isn't a balance mod! its a "lets make it so NOTHING can kill in one hit anymore!" mod.

i don't really know much about modding, but weapons balancing should be pretty easy. Just fooling around with damage tags and such. you can go to files2.halomods.com and go to their tutorials section for help.

Heyyo,

No, space is brake, not emergency. If it were emergency it would be easier to do tailwhips. Halo doesn't really need one since the hog already turns pretty instant.

I agree with a lot of the things you want.. but 100% accurate tank? hells no. The tank's fine already, you put it 100% accurate n' everyone will whore themselves to that. The tank's ok as it is. Increasing the accuracy on the MG will make it pretty ghey too. People already spawncamp with it, don't make it better, it'll just make it lamer especially when you're the one being spawncamped.

That's what I'd like to see, a 3 second invunerability when you spawn. to prevent spawncamping.. that or spawn with at least half of a red overshield (Q3A you spawned with extra health to make spawnkilling harder).

I think the banshee's fuelrod should be less accurate and do less damage from the farther you shoot it. So tha'd force banshees to get up close to people instead of cowering away n' just firing a few fuelrod shots at people cause they have no honor.

I say stickies are fine as they are. It's pretty hard to stick people, and if you stick a hog n' plant 3-5 pistol shots onnit the driver's dead n' the guner's 1 more bullet away from death.
