Live for nothing die for something.

I posted this over at the Halomaps forums but havent got a reply, Heres my question.
Recently I started making my own map, but I'm new around here. I followed a great tut and made my 3d model, but I need help exporting my max file into a .ASS file. I'm using 3ds max 9 so the original plugin didnt work, I then downloaded the Bluestreak .ASS exporter and placed it into 3ds max. It starts up with 3ds max but idk how to use it. I tried using it and it exported a .ASS file that was only 1kb, so clearly this is wrong. Any help would be appreciated as this is my first map.

Thus he came alone to Angband's gates, and he sounded his horn, and smote once more upon the brazen doors, and challenged Morgoth to come forth in single combat. And Morgoth came.

You need to convert your level to an Editable Mesh before exporting, for whatever reason the bluestreak exporter won't let you export of you're working in Editable Poly.

If that doesn't work then I have no clue why it won't export properly (check for open edges, and all that good stuff).

Receiving an export error can be caused due to many possible reasons. Could you provide us the exact error message that you receive?

Looks to me like you didn't apply any materials or something like that.
