You can change your .net password in hotmail, that should not affect b net at all.

I don't know, I have 2 .net passports now and it's a pain in the ass to get on the site sometimes, I created another Bungie Login just so my computer would leave me alone if I was just trying to read posts or work on the chapter, but I don't post with it because I don't want to anger the mods or the overlord. I want to know how to REMOVE a passport from Windows XP altogether.

How do you change your net passport but keep your b.net login? Or in the likely event of that not being possible, how do you delete your b.net account so you can use the name with your new net passport? I'd like to know as I am creating a new net passport.
Sorry if thats confusing to read :(

This is answered in the Help section:

Generally speaking, it's not possible to "unlink" a .NET Passport once it has been associated with your Bungie.net account. If you accidentally screw up during your Bungie.net account creation or decide you want to switch to a different account, there's not much you can do. In some cases, it may be easier to just create a new .NET Passport and start fresh, but this is not always a desirable option. In special cases, the Bungie.net admin team can assist in these matters and "unlink" your .NET Passport from your website account. To make this request, send an email to bnetbugs@microsoft.com with an explanation of your problem.
