Zooming while in the tank would be tight. It would be balanced out too, cuz your more vulnerable than usual.

It might work. Be kinda nice for those larger maps.

A heavily armored vehicle, carrying an infinite amound of tank shells, plus an infinit ammount of 50 cal bullets (predicting) boosting? c'mon now.

I doubt boosting. A tank that boosts? Yeah right.

There are two groups of people in the world - those that hope, and those that wish. The first group hopes that nothing bad will happen. The second group wishes that they are there when it does. Which one are you?

The modern M1A1 Abrams can cruise at 50+ mph...that a hell of a lot faster than what i assume is the scorpion's speed in Halo. Would you rather have a boost on it or a secondary fire?

You gotta admit, seeing a scorpian tank zip across the field would be funny to see. :-D

But I think he meant zooming. At times, it can be hard to think and type at the same time, no offense intended.

How would zooming in the tank work? Seeing as though you switch to 3rd person while you are in the tank...and if you stayed in first person you wouldn't be able to see over hills and whatnot even if you could zoom, so it wouldn't be as effective as the way the tank works now.

That secondary fire has saved my sorry ass time and time again. I'll keep it thank you very much.

Same here screw that boosting crap. All they really need to do is put about 10 20 more ponies in the engine.

What it needs is a troop bay.

Doesn't the Banshee have both?

Boosting and Secondary fire? Not possible, unless the Banshee has a different contorl scheme, which is unlikely

It is possible. The Xbox controller has analog triggers. Meaning they can detect when more pressure is applied. So for a boost you hold L and for the Fuel Rod Gun you just tap it. That same concept is done with the Plasma Pistol, so why not the Banshee?

but when you hold L for the plasma pistols it realease the shot as soon as the trigger is released...so how would the game distinguish between a Hold, and a heavy fingered tap?

By how long you hold it. Remember the Xbox is a fast thinking machine. If yo tap the trigger, the Xbox knows it was just a tap. Same goes for a hold. Also for all we know there may be a certain minimum time inside the boost mode (like a second or so). That answer yoyr question Sketch_?
