Aright, so I'm a wishful thinker, and I'm hoping to build my own comp (w/ Newegg, why of course). I thought I might as well get the works since newegg is wholesale. I was wondering whats the cheapeast pci-e card you can get?

EDIT 1: Is this any good?

Why would you bother to get socket 939 and an nForce 4 motherboard, which is expensive as far as AMDs go, and then get an X300? You're better off getting socket 754 with AGP 8x and a 9800 series graphics card.

If you get PCI-e, get at least an X700. Otherwise screw it and get socket 754 with a VIA chipset or comparable nForce 2/3 chipset. Really, that thing will work just as well as a 9200 PCI slot card. The point of nForce 4 is to get a high end system with a high end GPU. Socket 754 gives you great performance with a good chipset and a great GPU, costing about $100-$200 less.
