The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

I cannot congratulate Bungie and Microsoft enough for providing a patch for one of the most insidious bots that ever graced the game. It was a long time commin and I just figured Microsoft and Bungie cared less about halopc. I am the author of jDar. I didnt write it to devalue the game, it was already devalued due to a couple common aimbots produced for it (inside job? yeah). My son introduced me to halo. What a game. But we got quite pissed off a few years ago at the redundent one kill headshots (bot). So we didnt play for quite awhile. Next time I got on the game, it was over. Bots, wireframes, speed hacks, pffft. I dont know how such a big company could let a game get so out of hand.. but it did. I dont bot, I play heavy rooms just cause of bots. I wrote jDar to level the field. To make sure if one was cheating.. then all can have the cheat. Been in a sniper room lately? Obviously Microsoft nor Bungie has. Cheatin bastids. Whatever. I introduced jDar for 2 reasons. #1.. I need a job. #2.. to ligitimaize halopc. Im plesanly suprised to find u guys patched bitterbannannas code. I think theres still some more bots out there.. but the one (and the code I had) was pretty old and Im surprised u didn’t nip that f'er earlier. Just glad u did. Ty guys for remembering the game. It was a 10 star game when it came out. Im gettin ready to fire it up and see if how many stars it has left.
The goal of the patch was never to disable any of the bots. It was just a bonus. In due time, those bots will be working again, and all the kids will figure out how to get another pirated version of the game.
Btw, I don't understand how making another cheat to level the playing field solves anything. If you are cheating at a game, then you aren't playing for the right reasons. Cheating to try to out cheat other cheaters is freaking pathetic.
