Geno... Seriously, you need a new graphics card. I would dare to bet that you have an integrated graphics card onboard your motherboard. This usually just will not do (at all) unless you are running new laptop with geforce go 5700, or the new ati mobile chipset. So with that being said I would really suggest saving for a new add-in graphics card. If you need help choosing one go to coylters post "little knowledge to the PC" (click here) to help you find one that is suficient for your needs, and not too hard on your wallet (or your parents wallet). Then when you are ready to put it in your machine go to my post "how to build your own pc gaming rig" (click here) , and I will do my best to help you with your installation so you dont destroy anything accidentally. First off, you need to open up your computer case, if you have never done this go out and get a can of air duster (as your case should be plenty dusty). Make sure all the cords are un-attached, before pulling out the power cable if there is a switch on the power supply (usually what the power cord plugs into) the switch will have an 0 and a 1 or a circle and a line, flip it to the cirlce in or down. Now place the case on a stable surface (prefreably a wood table), now with the case standing up take out the screws holding on the back of the case. Try only taking out the ones on the left side of the computer (if the front of the case is looking at you) if this frees up that side slide it off, if not undo the reamining screws and slide off and lift up the case cover/cowling until it is off (remember to take care in keeping track of the screws and where they went in). Now with the case cover off you can peer inside and see... DUST! So take the computer carefully outside (DO NOT TOUCH ANY OF THE INSIDE PARTS), and use the can of duster as instructed on the can till your case in basically clean (always make sure your not spraying anything but air). Now take it back inside lay it flat (open side up) on a table (preferably wood) and look inside. The AGP (accelerated graphics port) slot is the brown one (usually brown) located nearest the top of your computer. If this slot is present then you are able to buy an AGP compatible graphics card. If it is not, then you must buy a PCI graphics card (PCI slots are the short white ones usually located toward the bottom of your case). So now you know what kind of graphics card will be compatible with your machine. Now stand the case back up, and put the case cover/cowling back on and screw in the case screws where they formerly were placed.

Well there you have it. You now know what type of card you need, now you just have to find which one will fit your budget and where to find it. Happy Hunting!

Actually I figured it out some how DirectX 9.0 got uninstalled or deleted or something of the like. After intsalling it again Halo ran just fine.
