Yeah, for CTF matches in Sidewinder or Bloodgulch, if I'm on a team of four or more, we usually have roles for each teammate.
1 long range sniper (sniper rifle/pistol combo)
1 midrange sniper (pistol/Rocket launcher or shotgun combo)
2 attackers (rocketlauncher or whatever)
The attackers obviously go for the flag, and the snipers provide the backup or defense when needed. If the opponent starts noticing our strategy, we simply swich the two sniper roles constantly (ie, have one sniper heading towards the flag to midrange scanning for enemies while the other backtracks to home base defending) while still having the attackers always going for the flag. If the teammates work well enough with that strategy, its a garanteed win every time.
Heh, another fun thing to do is lure enemies out of their base by having one teammate walking in the base to be noticed, then running out, and while being chased, I would snipe them from a distance and have a third teammate run in for the flag. Usually works best when the third person has active camo
