BUNGIE TO DOUBLE DEVELOPMENT STAFF FOR HALO 3
By Quinton Miles
In a recent interview with The Seattle-Post Intelligencer, Microsoft Game Studios head man J. Allard revealed that Bungie Studios has plans on doubling its development crew for Halo 3. There were 65 people on staff that worked for the better part of two years on Halo 2, but thanks to increased development spending and the international success of the game, the third edition is looking to be worked on by more than 130 people.
"Making a game is getting to be more and more like making a movie," said Allard. "You need to hire more artists, more animators and more musicians."
This also essentially confirms that an actual Halo 3 in development as well, so that's always good news to gamers. Whether it launches on the PS3's launch date or not is still a rumor, but as always, we'll have more on this as it gets announced.
