Choose wisely.

I honestly believe that Halo 3 PC should require -at the very least- Windows XP to run. I mean, who honestly wants to shell out a hundred bucks for an Operating System upgrade that saps 25% more of your computer hardware's resources than what is necessary?
If we all really wanted Halo 3 PC, then we would make it available to most of the users out there who already have Halo: CE for the PC. I mean, look at H2vista. How many servers are constantly up and running at the same time? 20? 30? Why aren't that many people using windows Vista?
Well there are several reasons:
1) The hardware upgrades that are necessary to run Vista without your system's resources being stolen would cost an outrageous amount of cash.
2) Currently, Windows vista requires too much to run for most consumers on their current computers.
3) The interface of vista is too user-friendly, thus it underminds many security issues, which is a pain in the neck when it comes to modding Halo CE. Security issues and Halo modding are conflicting issues.
4) The price. I mean how much does a copy of Windows Vista cost?
The lattermost reason probably makes the most sense. I mean if Vista and Halo CE modding don't mix well, then why would anyone want to buy Vista if they are such big fans of Halo CE?
I honestly don't think that we should be paying this much money just to play one game that is a simple deviation from its first installment with havok physics added in to it. I'm not voting, but if I were going to vote, I would choose at least XP.
Honestly, if someone developed a crack for multiplayer in H2 Vista that would allow you to play online for XP, I would worship that person.
