I thought that the Flood were too hard to kill in Halo. It seemed like no matter what you did, they would never die. You would see them have a seizure and then they'd get up and slap you. Please post your comments.

In halo 2 the only way you can kill a flood is by destroying the flood spore that is in the body, you can see tentacles coming out of their chests where the spores are. but even when you kill them another spore can take its place, so the only true way to kill them is to totally destroy them.

but in halo 1 one good close range shot witht eh shotgun puts them down for good.

I don't know about yall but I think the most annoying flood form is the carrier. I think the coolest is the human form.
Dude. What if there was a flood form of a brute or hunter. Omg.

Most people think that the strongest flood form would be a Brute or a Hunter form. But an Engineers form would hbe much more formidable.

Engineers are basicly big central nervous systems. The bigger the central nervous system the more dangerous you become when infected by the Flood. Have you seen the Flood Juggernaught vid? Search HBO for it, it was this cut Flood found with sa modded XBOX, there huge and were probably the Flood form of Engineers, before the Engineers were cut{again} from Halo 2.

I think that all that the infection forms care about is whether or not the host has sufficient combat capabilities. I can justify this theory by asking you: Have you ever seen a Grunt or Jackal form of Flood? The Flood view potential biomasses (quote 343 Guilty Spark) as either sentient or non-sentient. You see, biomass=central nervous system. Engineers seem to be the scientists of the Covenant so they probably possess little combat abilities.

The Carrier forms are Grunts{ I think} or damaged Combat forms. Also the bigger the central nervous system, the more the Flood can change them. Also, to your original post, Hunters can't become flood forms because the have no central system, there made out of worms or something. I think the Brutes skin is to thick or something.

No, I think carriers are basically just combat forms (any flavor) that have lived long past their combat usefulness..
