ok ive gotten a modded map and i went to my computer,local hardrive C:, program files,Microsoft games,halo,maps then i created a new folder and put the old bloodgulch map in it and renamed it old map and then i put the modded bloodgulch map in its place and named that one bloodgulch.map. but when i play the game the map isnt there. or the game starts then stops and something says its missing a part. what do i have to do? i know it involes me putting stuff in the maps folder. please help me!

well you said you made a new folder and put the modded map in that. just add the modded map to your map folder as it is without adding a new folder.

You probably named it wrong, or it's not exactly 14030 kb(14121 if you are on halo trial).

2. if u r running custom edit.:
-u dont hav to remove maps
-place the map u want in the map folder
