Actually, you can't compare the books to games as far as spartan and elites go. As far as the books in TFoR MC BARELY beat an elite in hand-to-hand combat and it took at least I think 2-3 spartans to take down one with guns. In the games grunts would be the equivalents to marines and spartans the equivalent to elites. Then there would be the jackals and ghosts and warthogs and shadows and longswords and pelican and all the other vehicles. Really, it wouldn't be a bad idea. And you could build shades and then gget grunts or elites to mount them. And the humans could be automated turrets/ missle launchers. Then there is of course the choice of weapons. There would be rocket infantry ar infantry pistol infantry sniper rilfle infantry battle rifle infantry SMG infantry, with the option of dual smgs or it could be an upgrade type deal thing, with the same for spartans and grunts/ elites. Jackals would have the defend ability and if you have 2 or more selected at once there could be an option to form a wall. Then there is all the diff types of warthogs. Plus, aerial combats with banshees and longsword. The possibilities are endless and it would be a blast. And then you could upgrade spartan's to Mark V armor with shield then get the upgrade of Mark VI armor. Or you could have it so Spartans are like the heroes from WC3 and you can only have so many of them and they get stronger with every kill as in Myth. BTW, the game sounds fun wouldn't mind playing it. All I know is it would be great fun.
