Oh, now you've gone and done it!
At first, my ships appear to be stationary, nonliving, lacking all but the eerie glimmer of twinkling lights. Then, slowly but surely, out of the oppressive but subtle silence of deep space, a light so bright that it almost blinds any onlookers begins to pierce the darkness, growing in intensity and size. By the time that any living being has the strength to look back at the place where my fleet once resided, only a dwindling star remains, ringed by an ethereal halo of light. As the viewers come to realize, the halo is expanding in all directions. To their horror, they see now that as the ring impacts with the planet closest to the light, it reacts with nothing short of a firestorm, incinerating everything in it's path. After the atmosphere continues to smolder, deep cracks surface from the planet's core and begin to shatter the very substance of the crust. Pieces, smaller, then larger begin to break off until only a glowing fireball remains... a battered shell of it's former self. Every planet in the system subdues to the ring's fury until none remain... but it does not end there. No, with every second gained, the wave, a ripple in spacetime, this indestructible killer, continues to grow in size and strength. It is, in fact, the gigantic wake of my fleet exiting your galaxy in subspace, breaking every known barrier of speed known to sentient life. You may compare it to a sonic boom in a way, though on a far grander scale. Sound is not being broken, but space itself as I continue on my path to the next galaxy, watching all your pathetic souls rush into the hands of whatever maker you woefully entrusted them to...
THE END
