Anyone need an ally? It's been a while since I've taken a role in this war. I need a target...

Dolorous' fleet of Jjarro ships warps in the current system, with Celer Manus Dei as the flagship, followed by a legion of warships from the S'pht 11th. clan, and countless dropships full of Lances of Mechs, ranging from light engagement units to heavy armor corps.

Hey, yo... been a while. Got confused a bit with the 3rd war for a while. Weird. Anyway, with Pink Menace gone, I am assuming command of the Dead Guys. Hey Excomm... you started the first war... is it unfair to kill someone? I declared myself neutral, recall? So then killingspree meleed me in the back, which is hardly honourable. i am quite content to be dead, but being alive has its merits, too. So far, both Pink and I have been "killed" by dishonourable warriors, or invincible, heavily shielded warships, numbering thirty bajillion, or some bull like that.

You could say that the Jjarro brought you back and gave you another chance, you know ;)

But I digress... *gives the signal as all ships take battle formations*

Hey Gimli, read my large post in the page before this one. It explains most of what happened when you and Excommunicado left.

*sighs* I'm not postponing my attack until tomorrow... Answer some people's positional data, or I will take my own measures to exterminate them anyway.

Yeah, Halo C. I read it already. Thanks for the recap. I'm not going into this war as much as before, that's whay I'm sort of glad I'm dead. BTW, as a neutral player, I award you guys stuff for public service. Halo CMDR... I am awarding you with a 4 megaton nuclear bobble-head doll to trick you foes with. Also, did you recieve those Lotuses I air dropped to you?

meh. It started with everyone having just plain old laser guns, in a text-based Halo type thing. But then someone started making invisible armies, etc, so now everyone has armadas, bases, you name it. Pink Menace and I are dead, so we are the rulers of the dead. (Pink is first in command, I am second.) If you die, you can join us. Until then, you can be on friendly terms with us, meaning we send you supernatural goodies occasionally. If you join the war, of course.

Oh, now you've gone and done it!

At first, my ships appear to be stationary, nonliving, lacking all but the eerie glimmer of twinkling lights. Then, slowly but surely, out of the oppressive but subtle silence of deep space, a light so bright that it almost blinds any onlookers begins to pierce the darkness, growing in intensity and size. By the time that any living being has the strength to look back at the place where my fleet once resided, only a dwindling star remains, ringed by an ethereal halo of light. As the viewers come to realize, the halo is expanding in all directions. To their horror, they see now that as the ring impacts with the planet closest to the light, it reacts with nothing short of a firestorm, incinerating everything in it's path. After the atmosphere continues to smolder, deep cracks surface from the planet's core and begin to shatter the very substance of the crust. Pieces, smaller, then larger begin to break off until only a glowing fireball remains... a battered shell of it's former self. Every planet in the system subdues to the ring's fury until none remain... but it does not end there. No, with every second gained, the wave, a ripple in spacetime, this indestructible killer, continues to grow in size and strength. It is, in fact, the gigantic wake of my fleet exiting your galaxy in subspace, breaking every known barrier of speed known to sentient life. You may compare it to a sonic boom in a way, though on a far grander scale. Sound is not being broken, but space itself as I continue on my path to the next galaxy, watching all your pathetic souls rush into the hands of whatever maker you woefully entrusted them to...

THE END

Well, I think its unfair to just walk up and say you killed someone. Sure, this game isnt about rules, and thats what makes it beautiful, but it has to have some basis on reality to make it fun for everyone.

I know many of you do not posess the patience to write out a more poetic approach to the fight, and there are other ways to fight, but try to restrain yourself a little.

Of course, thats all I would say is unnacceptable. We took oompaloompas trillion numbering army and made it fit into our entire war. To an extent, we are writing our own novel- our own history. Maybe if I get bored one day, I will compile a written history of the first Laser War. If I did that, would it be well appreciated?

Sorry Ex, I was just trying to give a sense of closure. Usually I wouldn't do that, but I just thought it was getting a little stale around here, and no one would tell me where anyone else was, so I took action. You can work out a way for you guys to live if you can, but my humblest apologies if it wasn't fair game to the rest of you *bows*

I don't quite know what that would include, but remember, you cannot treat me like a superior in this thread just because I started the Laser War... its a rough world out there (in this thread).

Excommunicado takes one step out from the motionless hordes of drones, and pivots towards the breach in the vaccuuming crowd. He moves forward carefully, and deliberately, provoking the stale air into a chilling wind, spiraling around him and penetratingly through the automatons staring bleakly before them. They see the dark, tall figure of Excommunicado, cloaked in black, ever emanating a feeling of dread and uneasiness.
Excommunicado stops upon arrival at the center of the clearing. The scorched earth and brimstone reeked of anguish and left a dark unstableness in the air.

Excommunicado unsheaths his sword, the purging ring resounding throughout the vast desert expanse. The waves of sound lashed menacingly upon his many spectators, and gave rise to a feeling of not wanting to exist.

Sword held high, Excommunicado proclaimed in a dark, nefarious voice, "WHO WILL CHALLENGE ME?!??!"

The challenge still reverberating in the ears of many, Excommunicado waits for his call to be answered.

You know, you can just let it stay stale- and someone can come along and revive it when its best needed. It won't fall too far back in the pages.
And I agree. We do need closure once and a while. The problem with that, is everyone wants to win. And since theres really no rules, theres no way to regulate that. So I say we forget all this technical stuff and move on. I also say this because I'm tired.

Dolorous steps forth from the quaking mass of the faceless souls who stand between him and his foe. He pulls from his side His own weapon, a hilt, richly engraved, ethereal in appearance, though brandishing no blade. As He marches ever closer to his opponent, you realize that His eyes are shut, though he seems to be guided by some mastered intent, some terrible purpose. Step by step, as he closes the gap between him and the one who challenges freedom itself, you realize that despite your various workings, despite any plan conceived or power revealed...

You can not stop Destiny.

I have come here before. I have ended the world, indeed this universe before as it has gone dim and cold. I have seen and borne the thousand fates of peril and anguish that you know not of. I have suffered in the deep and pitied the fallen. I have grown past your reckoning, and unless you have the strength of immortality itself, you shall not prevail. I am Hero.

As you watch, apparently without seeing any motion at all, The hilt I wield bursts forth with the strength of a star and ignites to form a blade writhing with energy, the like of which you have never seen, nor ever will see again. It's length seems to shift, as well as it's form, yet it's brightness remains. No shadow remains in it's stead, and no foe unvanquished.

As your eyes refocus on the still brilliant figure before you, you realize that my eyes are opened, not to reveal some depth of knowledge or wealth of wisdom in their orbs, but fire... the fire of purity that shall snuff the very imperfection from your wretched soul.
