Do you think we should try to implement some more rules and guidelines in the next Laser War? Or would that be a corrupt use of power?

sounds like a good idea to me, but it shouldn't be abused. I think there should be some rules like this:
Absolutely no invincibility of characters, vehicles, ships, planets, bases, etc. Everything is destructible.
No exagerated numbers of ships or soldiers, at least not over a million maybe.

What should we model this great new society after? Ancient rome (Post Julius Caesar, before its fall to the returning Gauls...)

Even Rome had it's flaw... uneven distribution of power. Have you ever read Dune? I always idealized the Fremen for their tenacity and loyalty in all circumstances.

My enemies are those who oppose freedom, and those practicers of vice and malice without need. Excommunicado, I agree with your ideal, though it should never be carried out senselessly. A hard breed of warriors should also be grounded in something to fight for besides there government, because empires fall. There are no exceptions. I fight for the concept, the ideal that strings through the course of all great empires, all civilizations, all battlegrounds.

and Byrum...

My eyes shift to meet yours, and I see your withering soul quake at the sight.

Perhaps I just decided to put effort into this. I didn't like you before, but I'm open to changing my mind now.

Then will it be a sennate or have an emporer? The Nation of Humptopia is in support for a senate.

Oompaloompa- who has little time remaining- and killingspree.

I'm sure another Laser War will bring new warriors. Maybe it will begin with us having an established empire...
That would be a little different scenario to play with and maybe the whole idea won't get old that way...

I believe with sufficient power checks and regulations- a monarchy would best suit our purposes.

I'm just going to need sufficient proof to weight my judgement, byrum. I worked your double last time, I can do it again. Mostly it was the "byruming" thing that got me ticked. Just work on your articulation of your methods.

The ideal society, in my opinion, is one where everyone has a say. The chain of command that Pink and I had going at the beginning of this war worked rather nicely, with everyone equal, but subject to a chain of command in a tight situation, and everyone working together. If everyone in the society works hard to preserve their honour, etc, it'll work.

Dolorous, can I join? I also agree with your ideals, for they are those of good, but doesn't your ideal mean that any other nation seperate from yours is an enemie's, so that means you would consider fire_team_tango's HUMPTOPIA nation an enemy.

I say we form a triumvirate with three consuls.

I believe that Dolorus should be in it. And of course I think I should be in it as well. But we need one more. Who will be the third?

As I said before, I will give no orders, but I will follow them only from my guiding light...

No kingdom, no people, no soul is mine save my own, and my choice to do with it is the devotion to that light that redeemed me from my own despair. I will not fail it, regardless of who's earthly banner flies before me in battle. I will remain loyal to my virtues, be they part of any kingdom. *bows* I am at your service until those ideals are violated.

Actually, I could be more proper and flowing in my writing style, but I chose the method that I use puposefully. I have intended from the start for my writing style to be blunt, absolutely direct, sarcastic, and just a bit raunchy.

Than you can be Praetor. So you don't govern until you see a point where we have failed. Therefore, in essence you have a lot of power.

So who else will be in the triumvirate?
