Does the energy sword run out of energy, like the plasma weapons, or does it just stay alive, and you never have to renew it?

think about it. no. it doesnt shoot or waste energy or plasma. its not a projectile. the energy stayes with the sword.

the energy continuously circulates around the sword.

Do you think Bungie would modify it to balance it out since the sword is a one-hit kill weapon? Perhaps like the flashlight recharging?

it's only good at very close range so that balances out the fact that it doesn't have ammo and is infinite in its use.

I think it should have limited energy only different attacks could use more or less energy only it could recharge like a flashlight

It's like an add-on to the Melee function... but on its own. It wouldn't have a limited charge, so you could be all gung-ho about using the plasma sword.

hopefully you don't have to carry it around at all and when you hit someone it just turns on, smacks them and then turns back off. i know thats most likely not the case, but in my opinion that would be the best way to use it.

(back to the point,i don't think it uses any energy.)
