Ya, that'll do it.

What video card do you have now? It could possibly need new drivers.

BTW: I'm only replying to this thread because the title is cute.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

I believe that is a chip integrated into your motherboard.

What is your price range/budget for a new card?

What graphics card interface do you have? It's also worth noting your processor speed and RAM so we can find a card that isn't overkill for your system.

Download Everest Home Edition

On the left sidebar thing, open up the category labeled motherboard by hitting the plus symbol.

Click on chipset on the left sidebar under motherboard, and tell us if any of the following are present on the right.
Hopefully there is a category called PCI Express, but if not, you might have AGP or even just PCI.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

This thread pains me.

You're inevitably going to run into problems. Stick with consoles if that's the problem.

Anyways, go to the Nvidia site and click the "Download Drivers" link. Pick out your graphics card (hold the key with the windows logo and R, then type "dxdiag" in the window that comes up; go to the Display tab to find out what graphics card you have).

Download and install drivers.
Also, try running it in Safe Mode to see if one of the graphic settings is screwing your game up.

Which driver did you download?

I'm not sure why we are heading in this direction anyway, your hardware is the culprit, not a bad driver.

Product type: GeForce

If the driver isn't compatible, you've downloaded the wrong package or the drivers just aren't on the Nvidia website. Make sure you selected the right option in "operating system" (Windows Vista 32 bit) even if your processer is a 64 bit.

I don't know about the 200 series, anyways - is it just really old or really new? If downloading the newest drivers doesn't work, then the card probably just doesn't work with the game.

Edit: It's always best to upgrade to the newest drivers before you start checking out your hardware. It's easier and usually the problem. Google "run Halo 2 Vista safe mode" or something like that to find out how.
