Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

If money is no object, take your computer to a computer store and ask them to give you the best possible video card for your hardware.

$200 is plenty to get more than what your computer can probably handle.

No,it's at the bottom. You'd have to play at a low res and low detail, that's the MINIMUM card....
And I wouldn't expect great performance either.

Wait, your downloading the wrong driver....

Under the "card series" section, choose "nvidia 6 series".

Though a new graphics card would do much better. Make sure your PC can support the card though.

It won't do anything to help halo 2!
Your card isn't that good at all,and is the very very MINIMUM for halo 2 vista, you have to get a diffrent graphics card.

I am sure you just love not being able to do anything being as ignorant as you are. You many not know how to tie your shoe or count to 10 but at least you arent a computer geek!

And yes video and graphic cards are the same thing.

I really don't know where you would be able to get help for getting a new graphics card. Maybe go to bestbuy adn circuit city, tell them to take a look. But get the actual card at newegg or tigerdirect, bestbuy, cicuit city, etc., are WAY WAY over priced.

Best buy charges $229 for an 8600gt!

I'm there but, man this is really starting to sound like communism.
Long live the MAW.

As said, best option is to get a new graphics card.
Best vendor: Superior Computers. It's a small, independent computer shop that sells it for fair prices. The thing that amazed me at that wonderful store however, was that the people working there knew a thing or two about the components they were selling (Compatibility, price, performance ect.)
If you spot such a store in your region (Canada, Ontario is where I'm at,) and don't feel like getting screwed over, I highly recomend you approach the store.
Heh, sounds like a cheap commercial, but that's my expierence with the store.

Solution:

A common Ministerial Council ruled the common government: it comprised the three ministers for the joint responsibilities (joint finance, military, and foreign policy), the two prime ministers, some Archdukes and the monarch. Two delegations of representatives, met separately and voted on the expenditures of the Common Ministerial Council, giving the two governments influence in the common administration. However, the ministers ultimately answered only to the monarch, and he had the final decision on matters of foreign and military policy.

Overlapping responsibilities between the joint ministries and the ministries of the two halves caused friction and inefficiencies. The armed forces suffered particularly from overlap. Although the unified government determined overall military direction, each remained in charge of "the quota of recruits, legislation concerning compulsory military service, transfer and provision of the armed forces, and regulation of the civic, non-military affairs of members of the armed forces". Needless to say, each government could have a strong influence over common governmental responsibilities. Each half of the Dual Monarchy proved quite prepared to disrupt common operations to advance its own interests.

Just get a new card. Your best bet would probably be to just get one online at a place like newegg.com. They're always a lot cheaper than the big box stores depending on what PC stores are near to you. Here is a link to a card that would be more than sufficient to run H2 and most of todays games, depending on what proccessor and memory you have. It's $150 shipped, w/ a $20 mail in rebate.

alright well this probably wont work out because it's my dads computer and he doesn't really want me messing it up so (he wont trust anyone with his computer) either he buys it or no card (hes not going to buy something that he wont use)

you guys see that mobo chipset he told us he had?
nForce 430?

does its motherboard even have PCI-E 16 slots?

Zache, that video card that Blasted gave you a link for is pretty decent, but you have to be sure your mainboard has the actual slot to install it.

My own website and clan
http://www.xgclan.com

does it even has an psu, with free molex connections for the gpu...
first find out that before you buy a gpu.
better go to a computer store and tell them that you can't play this game and that you want a faster gpu.

or maybe just get a new computer.
