Does the this year's, and consequently concecutive, E3 "best game" at show title mean that Halo 2 has been the longest wait for the most anticipated game... ever?
Yes it does. And with the gaming industry matching if not surpassing the movie industry then could Halo 2 be the watershed moment of interactivity with entertainment ? I ask you, "What other games are out there on the console horizon?" the answer..."none". Not to discount many PC games that are vastly popular (mostly due to there online playability...MMORPG anyone?). But Xbox Live has reached the 1 million mark faster than any other subscription service and the predictions of new users around our fateful Nov 9th date has got Microsoft execs seeking help for their constant drooling.
Just wanted to remind everyone that we: the fans and the fanboys, the newbs, the flamers and the spammers are all apart of something BIG. That something is Bungie's excellent portrayal of a story and sci-fi universe through -what will be- our civilization's most popular medium.... a game. We all wait together and then we will all play together... and we make it what it is as we go.
Yea it's gonna be great, and MS is gonna make a huge amount of money through it
Best game ever? In my opinion, it will be the best, and only because Bungie knew exactly what they wanted from the beginning, and built it up from there
