On March 10-13th, me and many friends of mine will be running a carnival booth that will host:

Halo Tournaments
Halo 2 Tournaments
Super Smash Brothers Melee Tournaments
DDR Tournaments
and Yu-Gi-Oh trading card duelist Tournaments

Location: Annunciation School & Parish 3781 S.W. 39 Street Hollywood, FL.

On all of the days we will have open gaming. All you have to do is pay $1 to play. The Tournaments, though, cost $5 to enter.

Prizes will consist of video games, trading cards, gift certificates, and other cool stuff, many of which donated from Electronics Boutique. That's right!, EB Games are our sponsors for this event!!!, expect good prizes from them.

We will have at least 7 TV's to help us out, and all the necessary systems
and games. Thes are the hours of operation for our booth: Thursday: 5-10PM, Friday: 5-11PM, Saturday: 12-10:30PM, and Sunday: 12-9:30PM.

This will be the schedule for the booth:

Thursday- Open gaming, no tournaments (unless a lot of people show up and want one).

Friday- Open gaming until the...
Smash singles tournament at 7:00,
Halo and Halo 2 singles tournament at 8:00.

Saturday- Open gaming until the...
Yu-Gi-Oh card duelist tournament at 5:00
Smash singles and doubles tournament at 6:00
DDR dance off tournament at 7:00
Halo and Halo 2 doubles and teams tournaments at 8:00

Sunday- Open gaming until the...
Halo and Halo 2 singles and 16 player free for all tournaments at 8:00
Smash singles and doubles tournament at 7:00

Btw, because of the price and limited time, all tournaments will be in single elimination format, although you can pay double the price and enter twice in the same bracket to increase you chances of winning or receiving a bye. We will be using a program called Tournament maker 2.0 to help us out with that. Also, we decided that around 20-40% of the Tournament fees/money altogether can go to you if you do not wish to win a prize on the table, although there will be great prizes. Reason it's 40% is because this is a fundraiser for the Annunciation parish. Example, 25 people enter the smash tourney, you win. You'll receive 25-50 bucks, whatever we conclusively decide it should be. We haven't decided on 2nd, though.....I guess a prize or a grand prize for him or her.

Please, if you do not wish, or can't go to this carnival, at least tell you friends about it, especially if they live near the Lake Forest/Hallandale/North Miami Beach/Hollywood area. We've done too much advertising for it to be a waste of time, all we are relying now is on HOPE.
