I think they have AGP versions of the X800XT. That's probably the last card from ATi to come out for AGP. It's darn nice, too! A bit expensive, somewhere between $400-500.

That's the best. The best value is probably the 9800 Pro, yes. It is still very impressive on most games, but may not do too well in another year or two.

Nu-mã, nu-ma iei, nu-mã, nu-mã, nu-mã iei
Chipul tãu ºi dragostea din tei
Mi-amintesc de ochii tãi.

It's 'Numa Numa Iei' from O-zone! Tell me you've seen that fat kid from New Jersey dancing and lipsynching to it on his webcam!

Good song, but the kid was funnier than hell. Almost as good as Star Wars kid...stupid kids, haha...

O-Zone is a Romanian techno/dance group. Sort of like the French techno Daft Punk. What's with these techno/dance hits from Europe? They just keep coming.

Numa Numa

Ahahaha!

The best price to performance is the 6600GT around 180-215 dollars retail. The X800 XT is comparable performance wise to the 6800 Ultra depending on the game the Ultra being faster in opengl games (I.E. Call of Duty, Doom 3, RTCW)

I'd personally go with the 6600GT unless you've got a powerful CPU (3Ghz Intel or AMD comparable) and expect to be running at 1280x1024 or higher resolution.

Heyyo,

err.. catalyst drivers aren't that hard.. it's an installer that does it all for ya. :p

now, for ati radeon's? x800xt's definately the best and last we'll probably see from ati. 9800 Pro's definately the best value ati card for agp.

6600GT's easily the best value card for agp. I highly suggest this beaute. :)

Not sure haven't seen any benches for it all I know it is a OEM(Major computer manufactuers I.E. HP, Dell, Sony) card. Seems to be sold mostly in Eurasia. If it's anything like the 6800GTO that dell was selling with it's PC's it will be a little slower than the retail GT card but only by a few fps.
