I have my halo pc game stored on my E:\ Drive. However, whenever I start up halo pc, it asks for an id and saves it on my C:\ drive. Is there a way to force it to save player content on my E:\ drive?

I don't think that's possible.

And why would you have it installed on a separate partition/hardrive, rather than the local one?

Is your local one the E drive? Because if it is, just change it to C; I forgot how.
If it isn't, install on your local drive. Not an option? Well, I guess you can try this:

Once you save it, does your ID work? If it does, I'd just leave it alone and not bother with it.

If it doesn't, see if you can find a user profile on the net that Halo PC can read.

Halo PC saves to your "My Documents/My Games/Halo" folder, it also loads from there. I don't see what the problem is.

I don't want to have it save on my C drive. I want to have it all saved on one drive so that when I go home I don't have to take my computer, just the external HDD. I'm doing that with all of my games now.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

You have to right-click on My Documents and specify another location for it to store its own files including the My Games folder. For example E:\My Documents

how do u specify the other location? I can move the file with the send command, but I don't know how to redirect it to only check E:\Halo

Make a folder called My Documents on E:. Go to the start menu and right-click on My Documents. Select move and browse to E:\My Documents. Then hit OK

I found the move key on a windows explorer panel. It wasn't listed as a right click option. I tried it out and it worked. Thanks.

nvm It didn't work. It still created a copy in the C drive. How do I keep it from doing that?

It looks like this. Right-click on My Documents in the START MENU and go to Properties.

Yeah, that doesn't fix it. Halo still writes to the C drive. Oh well.

How about you just keep two profiles, one on each computer?

Sounds like that's the only way it's gonna work. :(
