thats (say, not spelt) eether-net... Or CAT 6 net work cable. If you want more than two xboxs in one game, you'll need a hub that can take CAT 6. For a LAN party all you need to do is plug a play! Just go to any store that sells computers and ask for CAT 6 network cable.

And to think i having a LAN party today!

well have fun, and i hope you can find this post so you can see what fun a network game can be! ( BG CTF 16 way, all Types of wheels ( ghosts, tanks, wart hogs) All types of guns!that is FUN!)

This is Captain CheeZ signing out.... CHEEZ!

for 2 boxes without a router you need a crossover cable. if you have a cat5 or cat6 cable you can make your own by crossing a few wires in the middle, or cutting an end off and putting a new one on. There are diagrams all over the internet. but beware, some do not work. If you're not handy, I'd just buy one.

if you have a router, all you need is cat5 or 6. the difference is that 6 is a a bit faster. no big deal though, either will work.

The official system link cable is over priced for the length you get. I got a very good deal on a 20m RJ45 crossover cable on eBay. I would recomend spending a little bit extra for several meters of extra cable as it allows you to play with the teams in seperate rooms. (The RJ45 crossover cable works for system link without a hub).

Crossover for hooking up just 2 withought a hub

Cat5 is all that you need if you have a hub or a switch

Enough Said... If you still don't understand just throw your x-box out the window and never play halo again.
