So glad this game actually got inducted. That game truely was the one handed from god.

Can't say the same about Halo 2 though... If you know who I am you'll know why.

If not go to halo2sucks and you will certainly see me there...

The only people that contributed to Halo CE in anyway are jason, marty, and that GUI guy. Maybe a few animators stayed. Who the hell knows.

The first two members of Bungie were Alex Seropian and Jason Jones. Alex did the publishing deals and Jason made the games. Jason Jones thought of the Halo universe and Jason Jones was the project lead of Halo:CE and Halo 2. Jason still works for Bungie, along with a couple of the grizzled ancients, old school, and middle school people. Don't give Wideload all the credit.

Alex Hand crafted the physics and game engine himself. Alot of the goodness comes form him. He is a truly original human being.

Do you have a link stating this? I've heard different. I know Alex did publishing deals and I know J.J. was the guy behind all of Bungie's games.

P.S. How come Half-Life or Half-Life 2 weren't inducted?

If you want to discuss this, don't do it here. This is not the thread for it. Im so sick of people changing thread topics and putting down things that don't even pertain to the true topic. I know I am getting off the topic but I am doing it to make you and hopefully others stop. Go discuss how much you hate H2 and how Alex Seropian is your god at halo2sucks.com and not here. AND never in your life again on this site ever use the 'n' word. You know it's against forum rules. And it's not even used in the right context. I pity you and your halo2sucks.com counterparts. If all you do is put down what others have made for YOU to enjoy.

Congrats to Halo for making it to the Walk of Fame!!!!! For all of those who put alot of work into it, it's what you deserve.

Congrats indeed, that's a hell of an elite selection.
Let's hope that 2006 is the year for Sir Peter of Molyneaux.... Anyone else got predictions?

Congratulations, Bungie! Illustrious company indeed.

Interesting fact; according to an article on MSNBC, Nolan Bushnell held a Halo (2?) LAN party at his home not long before the induction ceremony. That's almost as cool as the Walk of Game nod itself.

-- Steve wonders if Mr. Bushnell ever played Gnop. :)

I think Halo don't deserve it, it is to new for that... Pac-man, Mario, Link, etc. deserve it but not Halo... even if I like it... imagine a hyper hyped game which is inducted during the following weeks it is realised.... and finally shade out quicklly...

I don't understand why you guy's aren't supportive of Bungie and Halo. You seem to be posting in their forums and to frequent their website. I would also like you to think about this. Bungie went from a basement operated 2 man team to the giant of video games in 13 years with little or no help from anyone (funding aside). Minotaur, Bungie's first project (which was somehow made entirley by Jason Jones) was packaged by Alex Saropian (sorry about misspelling that) and Jason Jones in their apartment. Now imagine making the jump from a hand assembled game from a basement to making one of the most epic and anticipated games ever. Anyone who can do that is worthy of some recognition and I'm really happy that they have been recognized for making the most addictive and interesting FPS of all time. Even if you don't like Halo, Bungie's devotion to hard work and great games should at the very least amaze you.

What the hell are you talking about! Halo: Combat Evolved deserves to be in the Walk of Game! I'm glad it's in there.
