Will we ever get an option to make it so that people who are not members of a chapter can vote in polls or post to forums, or anything of the like?

I made a poll just to satisfy my own curiosity about what other people thought.

Well, for that to happen they would either have to make group forums publically viewable, or add front page polls like the previous column. I think it's a good idea. Personally, I think the best way would just be to give overlords the option of a private or publically viewable forum.

Let me think about this, if the Polls and Forums went public, then noone would have to join. Hmmm, would that not defeat the whole purpose of this member system we have going on here?

Publically viewable* (<-key word), not postable. Any non-member can view these forums freely, It could easily be a column option. KTHXBAI

*adding even more emphasis on viewable

You could also equally just post the poll in one of these forums, so long as it is in the correct place.

I don't understand why 99% of people on internet forums make polls in the first place. What, do these people have focus groups, and teams of mathmeticians just waiting at the drop of the hat, ready to pour for hours over the statistical data of whether or not the majority of 12 year olds consider Princess Peach or Sephiroth a more important icon for gamers?

And once the pole has closed, what does the person who posted it even do with the collected cerebral droppings of said 12 year olds? Cross their arms and grin, nodding their head all the while thinking to themselves, "oMG I wuz write, more peeps LiEk Sephiroth then they do Peach! I am not alone in teh world"

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

When adjusting privileges of the guest/non-member role, the founder should have the option to give them permission of posting to the forum/viewing permission. This was if someone was looking at your chapter and saw awesome forum discussions or cool, interesting polls, they could join because of that. Lets be honest, the majority of chapter activity is in the forums. It'd also be easier if lets just say... vonmon wants help with his chapter and I would be willing to help but don't have time to join another chapter but I can't help out with his forum unless I join. If it is changed, I'd now be able to give advice and help him out.

I don't know how long it'll take but I hope it'll come with the next update. I doubt it, but one can hope.
