I think flaws in Halo PC and Halo 2 Vista is are example that can be utilized in order to avoid similar mistakes and improve on certain aspects if and when a Halo 3/ODST or even Halo: Reach port is to be made, which hopefully is sooner than when most people say it is. If a good company was asked by Microsoft to port Halo 3/ODST or Reach, I believe they will put enough work into it to make it the best of the Halo series on PC, and bring a sense of nostalgia to Bungie and Halo fans without Xbox 360s, have 360s but not live, or just are fans that want the game. If a current 360-exclusive Halo game is ported to the PC soon, I think more responsibility, caution, effective/efficient, and high-quality method will be used to achieve a product that will appeal to many gamers and PC users - expanding the community and also how most PC games should contain editing kits should further reminisce Halo: Combat Evolved and Custom Edition but what most might deem as an obsolete engine or graphics, they could also touch up on that and system requirements, a lesson that could also be extracted from the release and feedback of Halo 2 PC. I have a degree of trust and hope in Microsoft that if a XB360 exclusive Halo game, namely 3, ODST, or Reach was decided by MS (with the binding/assistance from another company[?]) to be ported, it won't be exaggerated length and neither a sprint, but I believe it won't make the same mistakes as H2PC, which is what history can be used for (though the same might not apply in certain circumstances as you can learn from past mistakes, but may make new ones - that's what the Bungie, Games for Windows Live forums, Modacity, and other forums of conglomerated and diverse PC gamers and developers will ensure with experience, opinion, and suggestions combined with the game porters and developers' knowledge and creativity if we do ever learn about such a auspicious occurrence worth celebration. Happy Bungie Day!
