It'd be a silly waste though, since there's always Gearbox's web site and forums to visit. Why not ask the developers of the PC version themselves before doing something stupidly overly-dramatic?

yah man, giving up like that seems kinda crappy, especially when we are talkin bout Halo here. Mabye post your question again. You can always e-mail microsoft and gearbox.

geno, Just go to the microsoft help page. I was having a problem, and they went right after it. They even called my house from seattle!! They will help you!! Just take the steps they ask you, and you WILL figure it out. Also have you tried to run diagnostics on your computer (like dxdiag for software, scandisk for you hard drive, and memtest86 for your RAM) ?

don't worry all sometimes I can get a little frustrated, but I never give up.
I figured out the problem was that DirectX 9.0 was deleted or corrupted somehow all I know is that after installing it again Halo was running fine.
