Any girl that plays halo enough to be comming to this message board is absolutely and totally NERDALISCIOUS and not even worth talking to.

nah, i dont think that coming to message boards means much in terms of being "nerdaliscious". I know a few girls who play video games and they are all cool. And if they are interested in the game and happen to be bored for a few minutes they may end up here. So coming to this forum only shows that they are interested in halo. But say that the girls in these forums were somewhat of nerds (not that they are), I dont see why they would be "not even worth talking to". You play video games and come to these forums, and you probably consider yourself worth talking to. So, what is so horrible about a girl being interested in a video game that she isnt worth talking to?

And by the way zoggy, nice avatar

Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

Wrong, have you seen Atsumi's pic? She doesn't look like a nerd...

Also, I know a fair number of girls who play the game, mostly my GF and my friends GF's who are there when we host LAN events. Though they still have a disdain for the game due to it taking up so much of our time. =)

Ya I know girls that play with their boy friends or maybe their brother or something, but none who go to lan parties just to play for themselves.

I stick with my argument that any girl nerdy enough to come here is too strange for me (I consider my self a nerd and don't mind nerdy girls.. but if they come here they are too nerdy even for me)

And by the way what makes you think that is her real picture... it is too easy to fake stuff like that on the internet I don't believe it at all.

but if they come here they are doing the same thing as you. so you are saying either that
1.a girl coming to a forum is more nerdy than a guy coming to a forum
or
2.a girl as nerdy as you, is too nerdy for you to associate with

It is not the same with all chicks. 'Nerdailicious'? Please. Stereotyping us already puts you in the shallow end. Sure being the only girl at a LAN party makes you feel weird, but when you're on top it makes up for it. Besides, its fun getting to know all the inside jokes the guys share in Halo while on a Slayer rampage, they're more entertaining then the girls' inside jokes to me. None of my gal pals play, plus I've heard stories about when they try...stories so shameful to the mighty Chupa-thingy that I don't talk about it.

We exist, but we're just too busy playing Halo for you to notice us out on the streets ;p

Well, she was doing her nails in one... and the second one she was standing with her family... and she had a funny look on her face... as she pointed out. If she wanted it be fake... she would have used a better picture.

It is more nerdy for a girl to come here than a guy... actually its pretty nerdy for any of you to be here. I would never spend my free time at home to come on here and do this. The only time i'm even here is at work doing the most boring job in existence in which I have loads of free time while I watch papers go into a scanner to come here and talk. This is all that keeps me from going insaine and quitting this most boring of boring jobs.

Why is it nerdy for us to come here? Perhaps we're as intrested in the subject as you are and want to know abit more about the games we play.

So you're telling me that sitting at home and typing about the stupid insignificant details of halo that the people who wrote it didn't even care about and speculating about where they got their ideas and stuff from when you could be hanging out with yoru friends and socialising or doing somethign productive isn't nerdy?? It's the nerdiest thing I've ever heard of for anybody even guys.

Actually when you're the only one not attending a summer course it serves as an alternative. Socializing is easy, being a part-average female I have my shopping date set tonight. My 'nerdy' productivity really shouldn't matter that much to you :)

Obviously you know nothing of Bungie, if you knew thier old games you would see how much they care. They tie in hundreds of references to myths, the bible, legends, history, etc. And they tie thier games together very loosely. They care VERY much about thier storyline of thier games. If you don't beleive me, then go to the older Bungie games page and click on Maraton or Myth and read about the storyline/plot... if you don't care to go and see for yourself, then shut your noise hole.

My post had nothign to do with whether or not they do that stuff.. it was just an example which you have now proven to be true of how much time you guys waste deliberating over whether or not they do it.

Lacrimosa, I'm glad to see that you have finally realized that just by being here you have deemed yourself ultimate nerd for life and that you have given up arguing about it.

I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with being a nerd... I openly admit that I myself as surprising as it may seem am a nerd.

I am a girl, I play Halo. And yes, those were my real pictures. (as I said, if I were to fake pictures of me, I'd use someone alot prettier.)

Just because someone goes to an online message board does not make them a nerd. Maybe I don't have any plans for the day so I decided to come here? I would happily go to a friends house then post on b.net. (No offence b.net goers)
