I've said this before in the Septagon, but it bears reutterance, If you ask to become a mod, you aren't cut out for it. The level of responsibility is extreme. Think about this, Bungie.net isn't that popular of a forum. I think we are lucky if we have 3,000 people that actually post more than once a month, and yet we seem to get a reputation in other Forums as being full of idiots, because of spamming, flaming and all around bad naturedness. These Mods have a lot to do on this forum because Bungie tries to make it an easy place to get into and talk, and a few bad apples are ruining that freedom. Praise the mods, thank them, but don't think you have what it takes. Everytime the mods move something, or snip something, or lock something because it doesn't follow the guidelines (which are posted on every page and you have to agree to them to get the account- but I digress) they get cursed by some half wit that didn't follow the guidelines in the first place. Do not envy the mods power. I'm willing to bet that it brings a lot of headache. The only thing that I envy are the custom Avatars!
