Does anyone else think the mouse sensitivity on halo for the pc is waaaayyy to high. I cant even aim with it and i have it on 1. I can imagin it on 10 even. You move it a little and it does a 180. Is there a way to set it even lower than the normal 1??

The mouse sensitivity at default, 3 I think it is, seems like spot on basic default sensitivity for an fps to me. I need to play at 6 personally I cannot even imagine what a sensitivity in the realm of negative numbers would feel like.

Wait, wouldn't negative sensitivity, end up inverting the horizontal axis or something crazy?

What mouse are you using?
I use an MX1000 which is way too fast even on sensitivity 1. However, I found a nice little utility called logigamer which allows you to tame it right down and customise all the button functions properly. If you're using a logitech, I definately recommend googling for it or hit me up on PM and I'll have a look later for a link.

If you're not using a logitech, then I have no idea what your problem is. I had an intellimouse explorer before the MX1000 and it was fine.

i have the mx 1000;) id highly recomend it. anyway my sensitivity is on the default 3, but when i got it at first i had to turn it down to 1 and i got used to it. now i like it on 3, and im used to the fast speed. plus i noticed when i got it i was at least 10x more acurate :)

mine's at 6 an 6. although im thinking about decreasing it just abit. That'll probally smooth the rough edges of my game.

Lower! I run mine at 8 and sometimes I wonder if that's high enough. Could there be something else affecting this speed?

Heyyo,

I think my horiz is 7-9 and vert is 6-7. It's annoying to try n' pwn on default sensitivity since you have to flail your arm around a lot, n' when you ain't got the biggest space for a keyboard n' mouse? less is more. :p

i have mine on 10 and it still is a little slow. but horizontal is very fast at 10. luckily vertical is less important. i have a microsoft optical (not wireless) mouse

Unless I missed something skimming through... I believe you said your prob was solved.
But yeah, trackball versus dragging mouse matters too. Trackball is already fairly sensitive, and is highly accurate once used too, i recommend one.
