Subject: Controller settings idea

I just read a topic of bumper jumper controller settings on HALO 2 for the 360. Well I also like the idea of the default controller settings being transferred to HALO 2 for the 360 as well. I think their should be an update for HALO 2 that allows the user to choose the HALO 3 controller settings as well as the standard HALO 2 settings. For all those that still like to play HALO 2.

it wouldn't work because the halo 3 setting use the bumbers and some people don't have a 360

Not only that would but it would be a waste of time really. With so few people still actively playing Halo2 when compared to the large amount of people playing Halo 3, I'm sure that the folks at Bungie would rather work on Halo 3 map packs and fixes/their new game, more than they would want to work on controller schemes. As much as I would love it, it just isn't practical.

It would work, I'm not saying make it so you have to use those settings, I'm just saying that you could have those options. the RB and the LB buttons on the 360 are just a different placement for the white/black buttons on the original halo control. The LB is the white and RB is the black. So they could have hit the black button (RB) to reload etc... and I really doubt it would take as long as making a brand new map for HALO 3. Its switching two actions by two commands. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take that long either to get the minor update to it. All I'm saying is that its possible and I think it would also raise the Halo 2 community back up because people wont have to worry about getting used to the controls again and getting used to the halo 3 controls when the switch back again.
