i think it would be cool to have like, 2 multiplayer levels of halo 2 in a demo disk that can be played on live, just to make them drool

I realize they said no demo awhile ago, but everyone has already seen the footage of the E3 level and they could share that with us. Probably won't happen, but could. You do realize that bungie can change their minds at anytime. And even though there is alot of people on this forum that are against the demo, I will tell you there are alot more people that are for it, that don't visit the forums.

So you want a demo much more than a game?
Dont forget making a demo would probably add another month onto the offcial games release date. You dont just prees a button and out come a million demos.
One other thing isn't E3 2004 a playable demo?

E3 is a playable demo, so u have just contradicted urself, they can just make the E3 demonstration a demo, and it would not add on any extra time, because it is alredy made, all the need to do is program a comp to make all the copies, u dont even need a person ,if it does not need watching over that is!

Hey Gold Elite, they already have a demo... hence the E3 2004 playable demo. Duh.

in the latest frankie update it was stated that bungie was making some beta disks to test halo 2 with more microsoft employees. bungie could just turn part of that beta into a demo seeing as how they said they were almost finished the beta. i would play that demo all the time until halo 2 officially came.

The beta is supposed to be of the full game both SP and MP. If bungie were to release a demo it would probably just be the demo that they had at E3 2004. That way none of the secrets of the final game would be given. This is because pretty much everyone has read all the stuff that was included in that playable demo. They probably won't do that because that map would be played out by time the final game comes out, and most people would forget that the demo would not be the final games and start gripping about this and that.

Probably what they will end up doing is having a bunch of videos or new videos that we haven't seen and some new tidbits that haven't been talked about yet. It sucks cause I would love to play the E3 demo, but because of the rabid fans that go overboard about how they preceive Halo2 this will probably not happen and is probably why they won't release a demo.
