When ever I try to join a game on Halo or HaloCE, it tells me that I was unable to join the server. I have Altell DSL and my computer is part of a Linksys wireless network connection of two computers. I can create my own game in Multiplayer, yet I can not join a game. What gives?

Alright, I'll mess with the settings and see if it works out. But what settings should I mess with?

Wes:

There could be several things affecting this.

Perhaps your router is blocking the Halo ports. Look in your Linksys documentation. Log into your router's control panel. (I do it by going to http://192.168.1.1 and logging in as the admin of the router) Try forwarding the port numbers of Halo to IP address of your computer that you want to use to join. Forward port 2304 to your internal IP address (that's the IP address of your computer that you play Halo on). You can see that IP when you host those Halo MP games on your LAN and press "F1".

How would I get the password for the control panel, and I'm not using the computer that has the router.
