What if, in halo 2 they included an extra (unlockable or not) that allowed you to play a small level that is designed if Halo had stayed as an RTS... or you play what they had origional designed to be "Halo"...

I'd like to take my marines to war with those Dinosaurs...a Scorpian would -blam!- those damn Dino's!

I really don't think that would work with the scheme of things. As much as it would be cool, idea-wise, Bungie doesn't need or possibly have the time to take care of these things. Halo 2 would and will be perfect otherwise.

That would be sweet. I have seen video and screenshots of the intended Real Time Tactical game and it looked sweet. I doubt they would incorporate that because of how much developement time that would take away from Halo 2 but maybe some video screenshots or something. If not you can see some on this site. You can see where some of there squad based ideas, vehicles ideas, etc. have been transferred from that game to this. Very sweet!

Halo PC, I feel like I should go ahead and buy it just for the hell of it everytime I'm in EB, but I feel like it'd be a waste since I already have it for Xbox, sure it's fully online and stuff, I could practice my skills and all but not really. I've been passing the time playing Pandora Tomorrow and -blam!-, think I'll pick up Battlefield: Vietnam or something after Pandora loses its touch and -blam!-. Anyway, you know I'm not saying the RTS version wouldn't be cool, I'm just saying that from how things seem Bungie is near finished with the game, give or take having to remove bugs, finishing touches, etc. E3 will bring more screenshots, a video or two and even the official release date, this hopefully. I for one am guessing a late August release date, since Frankie was saying they're going to be working even more during the summer, the beginning and middle of that should knock out alot of work for Halo 2, hopefully bringing this scenario. My fallback theory is beginning of or the 13th of September, the 13th after that brilliant guy with the Halo 2 Calender found that little fact in there, sadly his name escapes me at the moment. Either way, Bungie has alot of work ahead of them still so as much as all this stuff would be cool to add, people please let them continue on their masterpiece and finish the job. Believe me, we'll all be happy in the end for every single bit and moment of that game.
