oh my god guys... i'm just sick bout reading all of this trash again and again - and i don't talk about bungies trash - i talk about YOUR trash...

has anyone here considered the bungie produced mystery (which is in fact "hype") "awesome" in terms of letting u and me just wondering all day long WHAT the hell this update could be?
have YOU not waited eagerly for halo 2's launch?
let's say: like a small kid weaking up on christma's day?

man, bungie makes me feel like a ten-year old sometimes - i'm so damn excited that i can't stand still...
my god, even months after halo2's release date i can think about no other game than this - even though i've completed halo's campaign solo and cooperative hundrets and hundrets of times - and i've played halo2's campaign over and over again i don't feel as though the franchise is getting old for me...

my friends and i are planning a system-link-halo2-party next week - of course i want the new update as much as all of u want, but damn, after knowing bungie's way for YEARS now, know how they act and how they promote their games i CAN'T be angry or frustated about their policy anymore - hell, i've long realized that bungie's reactions might not always seem logical but make people crazy bout their games in the end (me included) - if u show such great emotions for a simple videogame, yeah guys, THEN i can say bungie definitly does make something extremely right...

have u ever thought that all of frankies behavior might be pure marketing - have u ever thought about that ms won't play their best card as an ordinary one?

damn, halo is not ANY game - it makes the xbox-world go round and round - and if u show ANY loyalty for the xbox-community and YOUR pattform u should start using your brain and be thankful that bungie made it possible that so many people around the world are so concerned for a damn videogame which is in the end your hobby...

if u want your hobby to be respected by the society THEN u should also respect bungie in every term as game-producers who are NO gods (does no one here understand the word "sarcasm" or "zynism" or "irony" - do u really think that bungie sees themself as a "god-company"?) but developers with great ability. (which are neither good nor evil)

i really consider starting a campaign in order to stopp hatred in the xbox/halo-community, though english is not my mother language...
this is a real SHAME for everyone who calls himself a "gamer" and a part of the community - don't allow these forums to become a place of abuse and hatred, which they allready are...!! U MUST NOT ALLOW PLAYERS START HATING EACH OTHER!!

if anyone feels the need to support me in the effort to bring together the whole xbox-community (by posting in all of the biggest xbox-forums, bungie.net included), please do not hesitate to contact me!

i also have to underline, that this is no fight against so called "complainers" - i can very well understand your point of view and also your frustration - but in the end, your constant not only negative but also cankered "feedback" does neither help bungie solving all the problems nor making anyone feeling "good" in this community...

in a common effort it is our duty as gamers to present our so worthwhile hobby to the society in a agreeable way

the war in the community only brings harm for everyone - it is frightening and alarming what one can read in the forums

calm down for a minute and start thinking about what u did to all of the world-wide xbox-players and where all of this bull**** will end...

WE HAVE TO STOP THIS AND WORK HARD FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND FEELING FOR YOUR PERSONAL ADVANTAGE AND THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE

in the end, we can again be a community

PLEASE JOIN ME

ps: sry for posting this topic twice, but i feel as though this should be important for both bungie in general (http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=2551830) and the community itself

puh... that is so frustrating...

you write a long and well-thought post in order to help the community, you try to tell people, that picking on others is not the way to go, you invest all your energy in this effort...

... and the first post you read is "Sorry does not make it right"

man, stan darsh, do u scan posts for weaknesses so that u can post your trash right away - do you even read in order to think about certain situations in this forum or is your only goal letting out your frustration on others?

i don't want to attack u myself, but if all people thought like you i see no chance for the community to heal it's own wounds...

is anyone here interested that all of the constant complaints and the more and more worse ambiciance stop?
is anyone here ready to use his intelligence?

He who makes a beast out of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man.

While your post is well thought out and organized, this dislike for all who hate Bungie and Bungie's games, is a given. You don't have to ask us if we don't like them, it really is a pointless question because are big fansof Bungie, "Do you hate all those Bungie Bashers?" The answer is obvious. The only way to heal the Bungie Forums are for people to start using their heads and stop being so ridiculous and posting useless crap.

And I am a friend of Stan Darsh's and he is not agressive or a "weakness finder" as you call it. He is an intellegent poster which is what these forums need to get back in their prime, if thats even possible anymore.

...i did enjoy the post...it was well thought out, and nicely presented...i even read the whole thing...But i did this in the underground. Please don't preach to me about using intelligence when your the one breaking the rules, and i was mearly using some of my sense of humor with an old Bungie quote.

stan darsh, excuse me of being so hard - i just don't understand why people read a topic and don't give feedback - and as i see now, you have made up your mind...

why didn't u share your thoughts right away?

forgive me, if i felt, that your post was provocative - i didn't want to attack you anyway
i just think, that this was a little misunderstanding

but please - let's talk about the main subject instead

i feel so much hatred in here - and i also feel that there are a lot of people who think as i do
i thought and i was afraid, that my post could be seen as an effort to attack complainers - and with saying that one should use his brain, i probably made things even worse...

the point is: i don't want do attack anyone - i've registered here simply because i feel i have to do something to stop this verbal war
it is getting worse and worse

and to be honest, i don't think that bungie really fights against these problemes - and if they don't talk with their community, then i think the community should stand up together

stan darsh, as i now see that you are getting the point - please help me to stay this topic alive - the question is: what can we do?

the best thing to do in my mind is to be as helpfull in the forums as possible...and if the main forums are getting to be too much for you, or your just looking for something different, join a group here on Bungie.net. there are many great ones to choose from...

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

There are certain people out there who have nothing better to do than find something to complain about, unfortunately

  • 03.12.2005 9:05 AM PDT

All you can do about it is ignore it. If something violates forum rules or Bungie.net's code of conduct, report the post to a moderator and we'll deal out blacklistings as needed.

If someone's just complaining, don't feel obligated to argue with them. That just fuels the fire. People rarely change their opinions here. Just ignore them.

Making threads like this doesn't really accomplish much, since most people who would read it and care aren't the ones causing problems anyway.
