Okay, my laptop is new and has the specs required to run Halo (2.66 Ghz, 128 MB GFX, 512 MB Ram) but when I begin the demo version's camaign or multiplayer, the game just locks up. My directx is up to date, video drivers good, and everything else. My computer even runs Half-Life 2 without any problems! So what is holding me back from playing Halo? Any help is appreciated...

No, the Camaign level loads fine, I can see the island that the silent cartographer takes place on, but when the camera pans to the Pelicans, it freezes.

My video card is compatible. ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 (128 MB), trust me, I've looked into everything. I just can't figure it out...

Ugh, a 9000? Well, maybe it can run...on second thought it could simply be getting overloaded, because the mobile ATi's aren't as good as the normal ones.

The thing that kills me is that it does the same exact thing running no sound and bare minimum graphics. Maybe it's just something wrong with the demo...

I've just brought Halo pc on ebay brand new.

I'm using petium 4, 512mb ram, 120gb hd, radeon 9800 pro and Halo pc graphics looks the best, just upgrade your graphic card that should do it.

This is weird, but i also have a labtop, and Halo runs fine.
SPECS:
P4 1.8 ghtz processor
512 mb RAM
ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 64mb.

The graphic card is extremely old, but surprisingly Halo runs fine (without specular shadows and decals, of course).

You want bad, here it is. And i am using a notebook to. 512 ram, Intel Pentium M, 1.5 centrino cpu. And intel integrated graphics. 64 megabytes. LOL. But I play with great FPS, and nice texture, but the color sucks.
