I rhode mah pwny all teh way to china! This is why I retired from Halo 3.Check my SC2 streams!
Alright, so I hear there is a boot-legged version of Halo 2 PC out here on the market in China somewhere. If I find it, I'll give you guys a heads up about it, tell you all what its like etc. etc. China has absolutely zero copyright laws.My friend here says he was able to pick up a copy of it for 10 RMB ( a dollar and fifty cents, no joke).I'm thinking maybe it is worth a buy, but I wonder if more people play it here than Halo 2 Vista in America / UK.EDIT: There's 1.3 billion people in this country. Someone has to be playing it...EDIT EDIT: Eye HAZ FOUND IT!Does that mean I get recon? -joke-[Edited on 09.04.2008 8:02 AM PDT]
There is a boot-legged version of everything in china. Much of what is said about china is incorrect, but this much is true.
I hope it isn't a bad thing I laughed when reading this.

Looks like you do have interwebz access in China.Yeah, pretty much everything in China is a fake...Get used to it
Heads up: I bought it today.Pricetag: 15 Renminbi (2 dollars, ten cents).I'll take a picture of me holding it later. The interwebz cafe I'm at now doesn't allow me to upload photos from USB mass storage devices / USB devices at all. They also don't have CD drives on any of their PCs here.I'll buy a laptop in about a month and see where things go with it from there. Hopefully it will run on XP.EDIT: I just checked the back. I don't read Chinese, but I would assume that this tiny box paragraph talking about GHz and multiples of 2 is talking about computer specs. In that case... if this is true, it can and will run on windows XP. Give me a month or two to get back to you guys on that.[Edited on 09.03.2008 8:48 AM PDT]
Is this a Halo 2 image file burnt on with the XP crack thrown in then?
Check the OP. And I'm not sure if that's what it is. All I know is that on the back of the game's case, it says it will run on windows XP or vista.hopefully with some form of multiplay or another.
That looks real good for a pirate, I expected a sharpied CD-R in a paper slipcase.
