bah

Overclocking your CPU is a good way to blow stuff up. I don't think there is any way to explain it over the internet, it would really be best if you Googled it and found a site with some nice diagrams. Or, next time the chess club is having an impormptu meeting in the cafeteria after school, go ask them (tell them a former member sent you), and if you have a computer club (even rarer) one of them will most likely be glad to help out.

First of all overclocking voids the warranty of the motherboard. And any OS (Operating System) or BIOS (Basic Input Output System) you have on your PC. Second The only way to do so is to flick a switch found on the Mother Board. Overclocking is not recommended for the avarage CPU or Sister Board conected to the Mother Board. Only specially designed equipment that usualy costs alot can handle it. In most cases overclocking can cause a computer to over heat and fry the CPU. Nuff said, avoid overclocking unless you are a profesional Computer Geek.
