...Thats right i can't even run combat evolved!! God! its a new in febuary laptop: dell inspiron 1525 with dual core pentuim 1.60Ghz 2gb of DDR2 RAM and a -blam!- intel graphics card. everything is on low settings (cant even so particles! eg. bullets!) and its still laggy.

HELP THIS COMPUTER SHOULD BE ABLE TO RUN THIS

ps. it halo custom edition so its only the multiplayer NO CAMPEIGHN, cant even do bloodgulch onine with 4 other players very well. ...and its framerate kind of lag not connection.

theres your problem......laptop. Internet either eithernet cable or wireless network card is still laggy. The best thing for halo is a desktop. You welcome......sorta

its a good wireless card and works fast. its defo not a commection problem. oh and the same computer can run counter strike source really well on high settings (aim maps and small maps)

It should be your intel graphics. They weren't made for gaming. How you play counter strike confuses me greatly, is it a bad graphics/2D game? Or are the maps you play on VERY small or badly detailed?

You'll have to get a dedicated card if you want to play games, like ATI and NVIDIA.

And if you have vista, that isn't your problem.

yeah vista but im not blaming that and i love vista. i think its the graphics but its a laptop how the hell do I replce it (in not getting a new laptopand have no room for desktop)

Your going to have to look around a lot and hope you can find somewhere that has a card for a laptop (try newegg or compusa or tiger direct, they're all online). That, or you'll just have to buy a whole entire new PC just for a new graphics card.

You cannot upgrade graphics chips in laptops.

You can in some but not all and its very difficult you have to dissasemble so much
