I have a question. The only time I ever really encounter the banshee is during social. This said, most people on social stop caring. As soon as I make a run for the banshee even calling out "Dibs on Banshee", I get betrayed, or even stuck, and in one occurance power drained by a jealous team mate who wanted it more, I just got there first. Sometimes they'll take pot shots if you fly away, but every now and then you get a real persistant jerk who just wants to take you banshee down to about 10%. Do you betray them back, just sulk off filling out a negative player review, or do you let them have it from then on. I myself prefer getting right in there face, stalking them. 9 times out of 10 they betray you, do this one more time, and wa la, magic boot button. While this is very satisfying, we usually loose a large gap in the team (the offender is usually one of several guests). Is this a good idea or what?Ugh, not cool! Your best bet is to go into Social BTB with a team of XBL friends who you know and trust. Going in alone is only fun for me if I have absolutely no intentions of winning -- because you usually don't, no matter how well you do. BTB is all about teamwork. No one individual can completely win or lose a game for the rest of the team, which means that if you want to win, you need to be with people you know and play well with (and trust).
That said, people who purposely betray the team are actively hurting it. Booting them is always a good idea. If it is an accidental betrayal, however, then you are only hurting yourself.
