Ok whats your opinion on intentionaly breaking off the banshees two wings before you get in it to make you a smaller target have no boost trail and being able to fit in tighter spots. I admit it makes it a little harder to splatter people. [/quote]My opinion is that it takes too long, damages the Banshee (which is already has relatively weak armor), makes it more difficult to splatter, and is of minimal value. Others may have a different opinion, but I would never do this.
[quote\ Also any advanced techniques for bailing out like doing a flip while exiting?I never bail out, so no :-)
Im sorry Im too lazy to go lab this but can you get sniped out of a banshee from behind if they hit your exposed legs.I believe this was confirmed by Halo 3 Mythbusters to be a myth -- you cannot be sniped out of a anshee.
can someone ride on the wing as easy as in halo2.No. It was very easy in the Halo 3 Beta to ride the Banshee, but it was too easy to use this for griefing -- especially on maps with a high ceiling like Sandtrap. Now, it is very difficult to stay on a moving Banshee.
I know this isnt exactly advanced banshee techniques but could you list some spots only easily reachable by the banshee. You know good sniper spots, laser spots, In my opinion, using the Banshee just to reach a high point to laser or snipe people is a massive waste of the best weapon in Halo 3 (which happens to have unlimited ammo) in favor of a weapon with limited ammunition and range. I would not suggest doing this.
