Can I ask a question? This has been bothering me for awhile. This is more of a "in general" question regarding an observation.
Why do you CONSTANTLY show the Superintendent?
We know whatever you guys are working on isn't dead obviously, but you constantly feel the need to show pictures of the Super and walk around with the shirts on and all that mumbo jumbo. I also notice that sometimes you photoshop the Super in pictures after E3. I understand before E3, but after E3 still now makes no sense to me. Now you show us a huge picture of some golfing invitational with the super on it. It is a clever design, don't get me wrong. Obviously the new project or whatever is going on with Halo 3 that we all don't know about yet will make sense of it all. Yet since we won't know until probably the NEXT E3, I don't see a need in showing us something we have been teased with for the past couple months AS FREQUENTLY as you do.
Maybe the reason for the photoshopping and the golfing invite design and the new constant "sightings!!!" of the Super is just as an inside joke with all of you guys since we won't know until you can tell us about it. All I ask is maybe for an understanding of why you constantly show the darn thing around when we won't have any clue what the thing is exactly yet. We don't even know if it will be involved in the game or Halo 3 update thing, or if it was to only prepare us for the E3 announcement.
As a Bungie fan of many years, I always await the weekly updates. The past couple months have been annoying with the constant Super sightings and I am sure that you can explain the reason for the frequency of the "sightings" without spoiling away any classified information. Maybe if myself and the others that are annoyed, could get some understanding on this issue, then we will be perfectly content to see the stupid thing with a plunger floating around on the pages of Bungie.net.
Thank you and I hope to hear a reply in the near future!
