I am going to be making a purchase of XBox live for Halo 2( as I am sure many are ) but I am curious about one thing....does the headset being wired to the controller get in the way at all...I am thinking about maybe getting the wireless headset, has anyone used that and is it worth the money, or is wired the way to go? Also I love my S type controller (used to be a die hard original controller fan) and I am debating on getting a wireless controller as well, but logitech is probably the only brand I would trust not to crap out on me...and opinions on that as well? The way it feels, ease of use, etc....

I think you mean Xbox Live?

If so, I don't have Xbox Live yet so I don't know... but how much is this wireless headset? It would be nice to go wireless (I like the freedom of it), but I don't think it's worth an extra $20....

No other opinions... I know someone said in one of the threads that they had the wireless headset

Xbox Live Gamertag: Opey Master

And yeah, Opey could probably win that game without using his BR. Best SMG user in Halo.

Don't ever get a wireless anything for your Xbox. All wireless controllers or headsets are always made by a different company and always screw up and don't deliver the peak performance of the original Xbox controller that we know and love.

And plus, the headset does not get in your way. My only complaint is that I can't lean back my head on to a fluffy pillow while trying to snipe that last stupid terrorist that has you pinned!

I also own Xbox Live. I recommend the Starter Kit. The wire does not get in the way so there is no fault in fragging someone in Halo 2!
