He's trolling for an oscar.

Don't get me wrong, Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors of all time. But this movie was sad.

I agree, Tom Hanks is a very good actor, but he's in alot of crappy movies. My favorite Tom Hanks movies has to be Saving Private Ryan. That movie kicked ass.

Yeah it's a close one. Private Ryan and Forest Gump are probably the best.

Tom Hanks skills as an actor are wasted on medioca movies that are only a little bit better than B-grade. The only bad thing about most of those movies is the substandard, poor storylines that realy do the charaters an injustice. Saving Private Ryan was a brillant film, even a game was based on the events retelled from D-day in Saving Private Ryan. That game was 'Metal of Honnor: Frontline' (I think?).

Yeah, but MOH blows. Except the one on PC, heard that was awesome.

He was also good in Cast Away.....

lmao, just kidding, I hated that movie.

I played MOH on PS2 and had trouble getting used to not being able to straffe. You do get to melee when you get close though! Oh and Forest Gump was by far Hanks' best movie.

Cast Away had a lot of "Please Read Between The Line" written all over it. Unless you were a movie nut, or in the reviewing industry or have high level English learning at school and/or University you woundn't get it. And even after that you would get board. The only part of that film that made me stand up and smile was the cross roads scene at the end, that pritty much sumed up the hole stupid idea behind the story, you could say therefore that the last scene came as a releaf for the original intent of the film, but the plot was never solid and it did seem to have been made up as they went along. Pfft!

It's not that I couldn't understand it, I just found it boring. And pointless. But hey, he's Tom Hanks, he can do what he -blam!- wants.

Agreed, But why the Hell dose he choose to waste His brillant talent on Crap storylines. He should wake up oneday and say 'I'm better than these smoosh, so I'm going to only acept roles that tie in with "GOOD", not "BAD" storylines'.

But, One could dream.

Excuse me j/k. I am a respected reviewer of texts and I am not an ACTION buff. I have a real soft spot for GOOD drama, not CRAP drama thankyou verymuch.
