When will we really get to see some of those destructable environments? ive only seen a pillar fall down in the E3 multiplayer demonstration, but really, thats not enough. i keep hearing about how "beutiful" it looks, but i havent even got a taste.

ALSO what kind of destruction is it? Mech Assault style or Red Faction style?

i hope its a mixture beetween both, like it will be destructible anywhere (red faction) but it will blow off in pieces.

I'm with you.... when are we going to see some destructable environments demo??? This is probibally what I'm looking forward to the most. I thought the environment in the original halo was awesome. The elaborate environment and advanced AI is the reason I bought an x-box. I can't wait to see if the beauty of it lives up to the already huge hype.

I read in one of the many post E3 reports ( I think it was on IGN.com ) that one group of people set out to see how destructable the enviornment was in the Zanzibar demo at E3. They went inside the base and completly shot away one of the walls supporting the structure. They said that the base didn't collapse after shooting away the initial rock, but they reported seeing a metal frame holding the building together inside the rock walls. Since then the engine has been updated, atleast that's what one of the updates reported. Sounds pretty intense if you ask me.
