This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Hey Halo 2 players. I was reading up on Halo 2 on Wikipedia out of boredom, when I came across this quote:

"We thought about the great LAN parties you can have with Halo 1 and decided to try [to] recreate that awesome experience of having all your buddies over to play, but using Xbox Live instead of having to lug consoles and televisions around. Going from having no Internet multiplayer to developing a completely new online model was a big challenge to tackle all at once, and as a result we had to leave a lot of things undone in order to meet the ship date commitment that we made to our fans." -Technical lead designer, Chris Butcher.

What was Chris talking about when he said "we had to leave a lot of things undone in order to meet the ship date commitment that we made to our fans?"

Just wondering. Thanks

Maybe the things left undone were things that had to be patched later on. Another thing they could have been were maps, or game modes. Some sort of testing could be another thing.

ARBITER, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER!!! WORT WORT WORT.

Campaign wasn't finished. It was supposed to have a lot of invisible barriers, just like Halo 3. I'm sure HIH would have found a way out anyhow haha.

Let's see... the film clip deal, they wanted to have that in H2.
The Mongoose.

Not confirmed, but there was TUE. The Ultimate Egg, a search many men have taken and found nothing.

A skull menu for the skulls was desired. Never had it.

Juggernaut Flood.

That's all I can think of for the time being.
