There was a forum on "Power Armour" being built a few weeks ago over at the GW forums for the Warhammer 40 00 Universe Games. That was one hell of a debate... a little out of my leage.

MIT's developing a new BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) that uses nanotechnology. Basically, it recycles your sweat, can make you nearly transparent, make you tire less easily, turn into a wetsuit when needed, counter biological agents, and stop bullets. They even think that one day nanotechnology will allow our soldiers to jump as high as 20 feet and punch through concrete walls!
Sounds kind of familiar doesn't it? Its like MC's armor- and yet its so tangible to us!

The bad thing about this is that some mulslim extremist terrorist (I don't mean to be racist) would kill one of our soldiers and steal his cloak. Then he could bomb our country without anyone seeing him.

If we have this, we will need it to monitor heart rate and if the person dies, it should automatically wipe it's memory banks and shut down so that they can't reverse engineer it and make their own. We would never win the war on terror if the terrorists got that kind of technology from us.

Scary stuff, man. Just imagine if they did: invisisble enemy soldiers hiding in metropolitan areas killing civilians without anybody knowing until they see the bodies, and then it's too late for that person. Scary.

Like the military wouldn't think of that. They're not as stupid as Hollywood makes them look.

Also, a war on a group of disorganized but lethal terrorists cannot be won. There's nowhere they can occupy to supress the attacks and they can't stop them using modern technology. Accept this and stop supporting BS wars waged against "terror." And for America's sake stop allowing your civil liberties to be stolen.

It's like trying to prevent domestic crime with police. Sure, it's a deterrent but in the end murders, rapes, and other crimes still take place. You'd need a mind-reader like in Minority Report to even hope of ever stopping them.

Don't worry. I know the Patriot Act steals too much of our freedoms and that this war can't really be won, but I thought everyone on this site were Bush Fanatics that like worshipped everything he does. That's how everybody (except me) is over here (actually just at my school)

However, lets try to shy away from politics here, now.

but I am saying, if one of our soldiers wearing this gets captured, the terrorists would have all that technology at their hands and would be about 7 times harder to kill or stop. Maybe they should only let groups like the Rangers or the Special Ops people wear them. Hey, maybe in Splinter Cell 3 Sam Fisher can be invisible and punch through walls. hahahahaha

I agree only Black Ops teams that supposedly exist(which they do) Like Rainbow Six, they are top secret and should be protected by this special armor.

I wish I was rich; I'd buy it and then paintball MC style. I'd like put an Assault Rifle shell over my paintball gun. Actually, I'd buy and angel paintball gun so it shoots like the AR. hahahahaha
