I'm having a similar problem altho i have gotten a bit further than you. Mine will show u in gamespy but ppl still cannot connect other than me. Now are you tlaking about a DS or just an ingame hosting? and also do you have a router? because if you do your going to have to forward some ports... you'll also have to figure out a way to obtain an IP address that isn't internal which may be your problem already.. if the IP starts with 192.168 then you are gunna have to figure out a way to get a diff IP because that was is more of an internal IP and no one will be able to contact it.. how tho idk.... if anyone else knows i could use the help

Open ports 2302 and 2303 or your router, diable the windows firewall that is almost always on in SP2, and disable other firewalls.

just found out something too! isp's tend to want to locally route you so you have to call them to get un locally routed!

You have a firewall in your router. Type your IP into your web browser, and enter the routers config area. The default password is admin. You then need to unblock

Start: 0 End: 2302 Protocol: UDP

And you need to turn off your firewall. That should do it.

Heyyo,

Start 0? not a good idea dude.

start: 2300 end: 2303

always good to open a few extra ports, but not a rediculous amount. ;)
