Heyyo,

Razix, the reason why some people would do that is they're used to playing Halo on xbox, and the idea of a mouse and keyboard is too weird for them. Y'know? you grow accustomed to playing 1 or many games a certain way, that anyother idea becomes.. well, weird to you. :p

I actually have one. I purchased it a few weeks ago because I am more of a console person. Also I get sweaty palms on occasion in a heated game so my conroller has a fan. The adapter I have works well but I have to re-install if I unplug the controller for some reason. I have only done it once but I will have to do it again after spring break. But if you would rather use a controller than a keyboard/mouse, I got my adapter for $12.95 flat.
If interested here is who I used and it was at my door within 3 or 4 business days.. I dont remember. Midwest Games

Hey,
Im not really replying to this but i have a question. Halo for the pc is so that you can play with other players around the country right? not just your friends. I have been told both, and im not sure so i was wondering if someone could help me out

It is both. You can reach friends if you all get XFire and usually there are people you dont know in different servers. People from all over the world play and you can too!

If you do end up using XFire, please sign the petition to help save it!

You can find the petition HERE

(Edit) Oops... I forget to mention that yes, you can buy an adapter for an XBox controller. I've been using one for ages now. No matter how hard I try, I just can't use the keyboard and mouse! It might have something to do with the size of my hands...

Hi,
Yes I have a USB adapter, bought in GAME. (I'm in the UK) It was £6.99 and works a treat. Don't use it for Halo PC, but for other games.

yes you can. Just take an end off an usb controller and a break off cable of the controller and splice them toghether, just twist all the matching colors together and get the driver.

just google this subject and you will get more detailed instructions :)

Ahh, but did anyone know that you can plug your keyboard and mouse into the xbox? It's for the exact same reason. People (like me) get used to the keyboard and can't really stand the controller. So when you go to a Halo/Halo2 party, you can bring along your mouse and keyboard and play.

I don't exactly know where you might find one, though. You could probably use Google pretty easily to find it.
